Udaan- Annual Sports Day

The Annual Sports day is entitled as Udaan, which means the flight to new horizons of achievements in sports. The exuberant athlete students as well as parents participate in the finale of races and sporty competitions. The lure of the event is the ennumber of innovative drills and demos performed by students from Pre- Primary to class X. The house wise prize distribution inspires a healthy competition amongst the four houses and students.

The much awaited Udaan - Our Annual Sports Day was held with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The programme began with the Principal Sir, welcoming the esteemed gathering and emphasised on the importance of sports in a child's life. The chief guest, Mr. James Dongardive, (Hon'ble Secretary Sir), Director Mrs. Pallavi Dongardive and Principal, as well as dignitories also took the salute of the impressive March Past of the students, coupled with some stirring marching music by the band.

Sports inculcate something in you that no institution, family or friendship can. Sports day is a platform to show case the talent and skills put in by the little champs to make it a successful event.

Sports are not about competition, it is about having fun, learning the skill of sports and building co-ordination & motor-skills. Our Annual Sports Day UDAAN gives an opportunity to students to display their self- confidence, talent and skills in different games and sports, patience, zeal and sportsman ship.

Udaan- Giving wings to fly: Udaan means to fly high, reach great heights ! Every year in the pursuit of giving wings to our champs, the school organizes Udaan in the school premises. The students of KG to X are participated in this grand sports event. The event started with our tiny tots holding the torch and marching with heads held high. Then, the event proceeded with well coordinated drills performed by our little ones. The students did great yoga asanas to the awe of the audience who couldn‘t believe their eyes, for such was their perfect poses. The event concluded with a splendid grand finale in which all our little champs danced. So conducted so many in house matches, tournaments and game competitions for various indoor outdoor games and sports like Chess, Carrom, Cricket, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Throw ball, football, Volley ball, Basketball, Badminton etc. It was indeed a power-packed and enthralling show by students of our NBIS family.
